Referring to your Despatch No. 3 of the 8th. January, I have the honour to state that I have referred to my Executive Council Mr. F. Brome's request for an increase of
pension.

It was unanimously agreed that no grounds existed for adding to the pension, but it we advised by a majority of the Council that you should be asked to authorize the Crow Agents to pay to Mr. Browne such honorarium, not exceeding £200, as you should consider fitted to the circumstances of the case, I
concur in this recommendation.
